Transform your 3rd gen Toyota Tundra into a rugged, off-roading machine with the C4 Hybrid Series Front Bumper for Tundra (2022-2023). Built to withstand the toughest challenges, this bumper not only enhances your vehicle's off-road capabilities but also provides superior protection. Designed with advanced features, it retains the full functionality of your Toyota Safety Sense system, park sensors, and front-mounted camera, making it the ideal choice for serious off-road enthusiasts.
Key Features:
Full Functionality Retained: The bumper is designed to retain the full functionality of the Toyota Safety Sense system, park sensors, and front-mounted camera. All bull bar options are compatible with TSS, although the Low-Height and Mid-Height bull bars will be visible in the camera's view without blocking it.
Sensor Considerations: Parking sensors must be oriented correctly during installation to avoid malfunctions. C4 Fabrication recommends that your truck be level for optimal sensor positioning. Trucks with significant forward rake may experience increased sensor sensitivity and intermittent alerts.
Lighting Integration: The bumper is designed to fit 40″ single row light bars, specifically the Baja Designs S8 light bar. It also includes cutouts for two pairs of Baja Designs Squadron fog lights. Please note that OE fog lights cannot be reused, and LP9 lights can be fitted with all options except the low bar, though the bumper does not come pre-drilled for these.
Installation Requirements: Installation requires cutting the plastic bumper panels under the headlights on each side and trimming the end of the fender flares. A detailed installation video is provided to guide you through each step.
Factory Integration: The bumper includes holes to reattach factory fender liners and comes with a front skid plate that replaces the factory plastic skid plate, providing additional protection.
Robust Construction: Made from 3/16″ laser-cut P&O steel, the bumper features 1/4″ thick mounting plates and a 1/4″ thick winch plate for added durability. The bull bar tubing is constructed from .120 wall 1 3/4″ and 1 1/2" diameter HREW tubing, ensuring robust protection.
Winch Compatibility: The bumper fits most winches in the 8k-12k range, though it is not compatible with the Smitty XRC 12k winch. Winches with synthetic rope and a hawse style fairlead are recommended for optimal fitment and functionality.
Additional Features: Standard on every bumper are 3/4″ thick D-Ring tabs, fully welded front and back, providing strong recovery points.
Finish: The bumper ships in bare steel and requires painting or powder coating before installation to prevent rusting, as a powder coat finish is not available from C4 Fabrication.
