Kingpin's V-Series are the most versatile 12-volt utility lights on the market.

SIMPLE INSTALL: VHB tape, adhesive, or screw mounted. Low power draw = no complex wiring or relays!

Installation
MOUNTING OPTIONS: V-Series lights come with aluminum mounting brackets: 3.75"L x 1.125"W spaced 35.25" or 12" center to center, respectively. Recommended mounting methods:
VHB Tape. Most common and preferred for most applications.
#6 or #8 screws, 8 Total (4 holes per mounting bracket)
Quick-release option: Velcro
POWER SOURCE: Any 12-volt power source can be used to power the V-Series 40" Light Bar.
The low 1.4A power draw on the 40" (~.5A on the 12") allows you to safely piggyback it into many existing circuits (ex. a rear brake light).
Plugs or adapters to power with a portable power station (12-volts!)
120v to 12v adapters to power with a standard home outlet.
WIRING: The V-Series 40" Light Bar comes with a 36" or 10" exterior rated 18-gauge wire lead. Simply connect the ground (black -) wire to a common ground or negative battery terminal and then the positive (red +) wire to the power source.

With any 12-volt power supply. We recommend permanent, hardwired installations for most applications. Any style of 12-volt power adapter can be used as long as the power supplied is actually 12-volts. Each light comes with tinned wire ends.
The 12" Light Bar has 500 lumens at an incredibly low 0.5 Amps!
Not at this time. We prefer simulated daylight when we need to perform tasks in the field. Also, our research suggests that bugs attraction to light is correlated more to light intensity.
Yes, all v-Series lights can be installed in exterior applications and even submerged for short periods. Although technically capable, we do not recommend installing our products below water line.
Each bracket has 4 small holes for #6 or #8 screws, but VHB taps works best for most applications.
No. The v-Series is designed to maximize longevity through simplicity - this is one key element.
No, it does not come with a switch. You can use one designed specifically for the kingpin light bars here or any style of inline switch designed to handle 12V 1A loads.
