The 4th Gen Tacoma models without offroad capabilities lack the welded front frame cross member present in TRD Offroad, TRD Pro, and Trailhunter trims. This results in the inability to fully mount OEM or aftermarket skid plates due to the absence of two crucial mounting points. By adding two missing M8 mounting holes and enhancing the chassis strength, the Toyota Tacoma Front Frame Cross Member allows for full mounting of skid plates and provides greater damage resistance.

Restores Skid Plate Mounting Points: This Front Frame Cross Member adds the two missing M8 mounting holes found in non-offroad trims of the 4th Gen Tacoma, allowing you to fully mount OEM skid plates like the TRD Pro or Trailhunter, as well as aftermarket options such as the NYTOP skid plates.
Chassis Strength & Damage Resistance: Not only does it restore skid plate compatibility, but this cross member also increases chassis strength and damage resistance, providing added durability for off-road driving.
Durable Construction: Made with1/4-inch high-strength steel and finished in black powder coat, the cross member is designed to endure tough off-road conditions while maintaining a sleek, rugged look.
Mounting Compatibility: Comes with two M8 bolts to securely mount OEM and aftermarket skid plates. Be sure to torque all bolts to 75 ft-lbs./101 Nm for proper installation.
