Factory Indicator Light Compatibility
The Glow Gauges feature dedicated cutouts for the factory indicator lights in your Tacoma's gauge cluster. This allows the original warning and indicator lights to continue operating as they did from the factory.
The kit includes two variations of the fuel indicator panel:

One version includes a cutout for the 4WD indicator
- The second version does not include the 4WD indicator cutout and is intended for vehicles with the 4WD indicator located in the center of the cluster or for 2WD models
Both variations are included so you can install the appropriate version for your Tacoma.
Automatic & Manual Transmission Compatibility
The TEQ Customs Glow Gauges are compatible with both automatic and manual transmission Tacoma models.
On automatic transmission models, the Glow Gauges do not replace or cover the portion of the factory cluster containing the PRNDL gear indicator, allowing the original transmission display to remain functional.
Lighting & Dimmer
The Glow Gauges include their own switch and dedicated dimmer for controlling gauge illumination.
The Glow Gauge lighting is not currently compatible with the factory dimmer, so brightness is adjusted using the included dimmer control.
Although some product images may not show the gauge needles illuminated, the factory needles will illuminate when installed on the vehicle, providing additional visibility and contrast against the Glow Gauge faces.
Installation
The Glow Gauges install over your existing factory gauge cluster, and removal of the gauge needles is not required.
Power and ground for the Glow Gauge lighting must be tapped into the dash electrical circuit. Non-splicing taps are included, allowing the necessary connections to be made without cutting or soldering the factory wiring. Pliers are all that's required to secure the included taps.
